Ways to get to Bol

By catamaran from Split

The quickest way without a car. A direct passenger catamaran sails from Split harbour to Bol in about an hour, with more departures in summer. Timetables and tickets: Jadrolinija and, in season, other local operators. Bol harbour is in the town centre, a short walk from the house.

By car ferry via Supetar

Car ferries run frequently from Split to Supetar on the north coast of Brač (about 50 minutes). From Supetar it is about 40 km across the island to Bol, a drive of around 45 minutes.

By car ferry via Sumartin

Coming from the south or from Makarska, take the ferry from Makarska to Sumartin on the east of the island, then drive about 40 minutes to Bol.

By plane

Split Airport has flights from all over Europe; from there, go to Split harbour for the catamaran or the ferry. Brač Airport, a short drive from Bol, has seasonal flights.

By bus on the island

Buses run between Supetar and Bol and connect with many of the ferries.

Arriving at the house
